Go Dawgs!

Well, Since this is after the Egg Bowl..I am even more excited about the title of this post. We went to the Alabama game a couple of weeks ago. This was mine and the kids first game of the season.

We were worried about the kids and their sleep schedule, etc...b/c the game was at 6:30 which was 7:30 our time.

They had such a good time, they didn't even notice that they were exhausted. We made it through the first part of the 4th quarter.

I was very proud of them!

Star Student week

Katie was star student a couple of weeks ago. This entails her being line leader, squirting soap in everyone's hands at snack time and doing the day and weather chart. It is a VERY big deal!

Katie also needed to make a poster "All About Katie". We had a lot of fun doing this. Katie told me everything to write. This included that her favorite food is Japanese and activity was ballet.

Happy Halloween!

Well, Jack and Jill came to our house to trick or treat this Halloween! They had so much fun. Even though it was raining! Their favorite part, though, was handing out this candy to the kids that came to our door.

Here is the pumpkin we carved.
The kids got to help with the face design. Katie has 4 teeth b/c she is 4 and Bryson 2 b/c he is 2. They got a big kick out of that!

Pumpkins at the fire station

We look forward to this every year. It is pumpkin pickin' at the fire station. Bryson loves being around all the trucks and firemen. (they carry our pumpkins for us!)

I have to say that I think we picked out the best ones. They look great on our front porch and they are just waiting to be carved by daddy!

Big Boy got his first haircut

Yep...He is 2 1/2 and just now getting his first haircut! We think he looks quite handsome! He did a great job with no tears. All he wanted to watch was the t.v.

Back from the Beach

We got back from the beach tonight. We went my my parents and sisters. We had a blast! The kids did really well and had more and more fun as the days went on. We went to Gulf Shores and stayed at the Turquoise. It was amazing! It was right on the beach. It had a lazy river, outdoor pool with water spouts and an indoor pool with a slide! I wish I had video of the kids going down the slide. Katie went slow as molasses, Bryson was a daredevil and Sara Beth was like a rocket. Even Little Leigh enjoyed it! All the adults gave it a try too!
One night we went to LuLu's. Here is a video of the kids dancing!

BoBo fed the birds. The kids loved it. At one point, There were probably 30 or so birds!

Bandaids, Bandaids... and more bandaids

Ask my mom and dad and they can give you countless stories of how much I loved bandaids as a child. I am pretty sure they are a hit at many homes that have toddlers! I believe Bryson might like them as much as I did!

Happy 4th (So..it's a little late!)

We had a fun-filled 4th of July! We started the day slowly knowing that we were in for a busy day... After lunch we went to My brother-in-law's parent's pool. We had lots of fun there. We headed home to put both kids down for a late nap so they could make it
(happily) through firworks. We met the Price family at Partner's Pizza for dinner. The kids LOVE hanging out with Baby Caroline. They went home after dinner and we walked around outside waiting for everything to start. We stopped off at the ice cream vendor for some orange sherbet! Yummy. We didn't know which way it would go, but the kids ended up really enjoying the fireworks!

BTW: For those of you who know Katie and her love for "photography"..I posted a picture that Katie took for me of me and Clark. Pretty good, huh?

We have a fish!

Katie had a 5 day swimming lesson this past week. This time last week, she didn't like her face to get wet. Check her out now! We are very proud of her. She worked hard the whole time, even when she didn't like it! Yeah Katie!!!!!!!

First Day and Last day

Here is Katie the first day and last day. More post to come on Bryson boy later :)

Katie's last day of school

Yesterday was Katie's last day of school. They ended the year with a big party with blow up slide and big wheel rides. Katie and a blast. Afterwards, they came in for pizza and dessert. After pizza, They each walked up and received the certificate of completion. We are very proud of Katie! She has really grown this year.

The Pegg 1st Annual Touch A Truck

We've kept hearing about them but we have never made it to one of them but seeing that my son's first word wasn't "mamama" but " truck"...I though we should go. It took some warming up but the kids got a hang of it. Some of them proved to be a bit intimidating but the best was the tow truck b/c we got to pull the horn!

Katie's Fieldtrip to the farm

Katie's preschool took a wonderful field trip to a farm about half an hour from their school. The farm was great for schools. It was divided into sections so the kids could go to different areas. They had a petting area, horse ride, hay ride and then snack time. I think Katie enjoyed the swing the most. We rode their with Katie friend, Elizabeth. I hear about Elizabeth ALL the time! She is a very sweet little girl and she a Katie seem to have a lot of fun together. The best part is, her mom is a blast to talk to also. Good for me to!

Enjoy the pictures!

Clark's Birthday

Clark turned 30 April 30th. Our sweet sweet precious friends asked me if they could help throw him a party and it was a great party! For those of you who know Morgan, you know she is the party queen. She did and awesome job coordinating all of these amazing Mississippi State fabrics as runners, towels and even dog bandannas. Her house looked great!

We got him an amazing bulldog cake. The cake was HUGE! If you are picturing something, go ahead and think an little bigger! Wow. It was amazing.

Thank all of you who came to it and a big thank you to Morgan and Joey. You are such dear friend to us and we love you!

And to my sweet husband, Happy Birthday Clark! The kids and I love you very much!

Our trip to Orlando

Katie and I got to take out first "girls"trip to Orlando the last weekend in April. we had so much fun on our drive. She is a fun little passenger! (Besides the fact she doesn't nap!!) We went down their to watch Auntsa (Sara) cheer for the Woo S A (USA). It was a blast. And on top of everything, they won! Yeah! We meet Nanna, Sara Beth, Leigh, MyMay and BoBo down there. That was probably the most fun for Katie is getting to see her Sara Beth. Thank you BoBo for such a great trip and thanks Auntsa for going! Let's go again and maybe next time we will bring the boys with us :) This is a picture of Katie dancing with Sara Beth and then of the ducks trying to share Katie's lunch with her one day at the Wilderness Resort.

Bryson's Birthday

We had Bryson a wonderful Bubble 2nd birthday party! We had 2 commercial bubble machines, lots of bubble toys and 75 feet of bubble wrap to run or sqeeze. It was a blast.

I can' t believe that my sweet Bryson is 2. Time sure does go quickly. He has really grown up these last few months.

I'm Baaack!

hello friends! I am so sorry that I have been a slacker on my blog. i am back. Give me a few days and i will catch you up on our oh so exciting life!

My Birthday Hibachi Style

On Monday, we went to a hibachi grill for my birthday. Katie and Bryson had been to one before for their Auntsa's birthday but it has been a really long time!

Boy, did they have a blast. They ate shrimp, zucchini, chicken, soup, salad, broccoli, and on and on! It was hilarious!! I wish we had one in our house. Dinner would be so much much easier around here.

Enjoy the picture. They were champs with the chopsticks!

A Day at the Circus

This Valentine's Day, We spent the day at the Barnum and Bailey's Over the Top circus. It is the one with all the motercycles. The kids had a wonderful time. This was Bryson's first trip to the cricus. His eyes were as big as they could get. Katie sat still and didn't want to miss a single thing! It was a day that we wil never forget. Here are a few pictures of the kids at the circus.

My New Adventure!

Well..I am sewing. I have made a few things. I have thoroughly enjoyed it so far. My dad picked up a sewing machine from a work auction and Boy have I used it. Here are a few outfits that I have made. The dress is for Katie for Sara Beth's "Pinkalicious" party and the other outfit is for my nephew Levi.
